A Tradition of Craftsmanship (continued)

Bozo's Japanese models have therefore retained their value well, and are of interest to both collectors and players.

During the late 1980's, Bozo moved to Englewood in Florida to be near his family. This is where he chose to retire. Following a death in the family, he and his wife decided it was time to move on, so they put their house up for sale. The real estate agent recognized Bozo as the well-known luthier and convinced him not to sell but to come out of retirement to once again build guitars.

Bozo's 40th Anniversary Archtop

Bozo is currently building instruments that are better than ever. His artistic inlays are very distinctive, as are the sounds from his guitars. His real passion these days is building archtops, though he also still builds his characteristic Bell Western.
