The August 1994 issue of Guitar Player included a brief sample of a slide lick from "Vaseline Machine Gun," as part of an article on slide guitar. I have not included the August 1994 example due to the bad quality of the image when I scanned it. I suggest you refer to the transcription of "Vaseline Machine Gun," called "Machine 3" in John Stropes' Leo Kottke/Eight Songs [Hal Leonard Publishing]. It's more accurate anyway. -- BH.
